Spiritual Thoughts

Posted on Updated on

Oh my! The spiritual thoughts running through my mind this morning!

My virus software warned me a month ago that it was expiring soon and that it would be automatically renewed and charged to our credit card.

I was going to cancel and change programs but kept putting it off. Now it is too late…but it is a good program and has kept our computer free from spyware and viruses.

Today was the day! I thought maybe a couple more weeks but, it automatically gave me 2 more years for two computers, but I did have to down load it. (I thought it was for just one year) and charged it to us. So it was a better deal than I thought it would be.

The spiritual thoughts: We are warned about losing our souls…and our physical lives will expire someday.  Sin separates us from God. It is worse than the spyware and viruses on our computers. These are in our mind and in our actions. The day will come when the decision is stamped and done, and if we have not made the right decision…the “program” we have will not be good.

We can have heaven instead.  It is free but it wasn’t free for Someone… Jesus paid it all…It was charged to Him before the creation of the world!   Revelation 13: 8-9    “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.”   All of us will worship Him on that day whether we are saved or not.

It is free for us, but we do have to act. (Obey Him) and live faithfully until death. It is very unwise to keep putting off.

Heaven will be more wonderful than we ever thought it could be. God tried to give our human minds a description so we could understand enough to want to go there, but we can not understand just how wonderful! What a sad day it will be if we are unprepared for it and no more chances remain.
