Flowers and Children

Oh little bud, what will you be

When you are all grown-up.

Will you be good for butterflies?

Or through neglect… just shrivel up?

 

Oh little babe, what will you be

At the end of your growing years?

Will you bring joy to those around…

Or will their joy turn into tears?
